Monster Makeup Productions is at it again! And this year we are shooting our favorite project yet - Queen of the Rats. Our third feature film, Queen of the Rats may just be the most Providence movie OF ALL TIME. A gorey, gooey blend of Providence's three historical tenets - the art warehouse scene of early 2000s, the mafia’s clutch on the city, and cosmic horror - QotR will be abrasive, hilarious, and unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
Like our previous projects, Death Drop Gorgeous and Saint Drogo, we promise you practical effects and authentic queer representation. At the heart of the story is a parable about protecting community, celebrating art, and rejecting the insidious greed of gentrification.
